Origins

The School Performance Institute (SPI) originated within the four schools that make up the United Schools Network (USN) in Columbus, Ohio. Since 2008, USN schools have been the laboratory for the research and development for SPI’s school design best practices. We are combining what we’ve learned in our schools with lessons learned from other high-poverty, high-performing schools across the United States into a powerful series of professional learning opportunities.
